The No-God Delusion

The psychiatric definition of “delusion” associates “delusion” with poor mental health. And a vast amount of research demonstrates that theistic belief is BENEFICIAL to one’s mental (and physical) health…whereas disbelief is HARMFUL. Utilizing the psychiatric definition of “delusion,” then, it is clearly atheists who are more deluded.

The ancient fable behind disbelief in Christ’s resurrection.

Disbelievers in Christ’s resurrection would have one believe that the resurrection is an ancient fable. But it is actually DISBELIEF in Christ’s resurrection that springs from belief in an ancient fable…the ancient fable known as materialism or naturalism.

Do Christ’s divinity and resurrection defy common sense?

The biblical claims about the divinity and resurrection of Jesus only violate common-sense when viewed from the lens of materialism (which says that only the world of material things is real). But materialism is a scientifically unsupportable stance.

Doesn’t religion cause killing?

Religion should be abandoned because it motivates killing—argue atheists. But the first problem with this argument is that “religion” is a notoriously slippery term. It is therefore impossible to rationally categorize God-believing church attenders as “religious” and atheists as “non-religious.”

Secondly, the most prolific killers in all of human history were the Communists and Nazis. Communism is an officially atheist political philosophy, and the Nazis rationalized their killing with atheist philosophy.

How to evaluate an NDE skeptic’s materialist explanations for the phenomenon

Materialism (in which atheism is rooted) declares that only the material world is real, and that, therefore, human beings are nothing but physical bodies…which have no soul that survives bodily death. But the near-death experience (NDE) phenomenon poses a grave threat to this viewpoint. Therefore, atheist NDE skeptics have gone to great lengths to deny the reality of the NDE phenomenon, which, as NDE researcher Jeffrey Long M.D. states in his book Evidence for the Afterlife, often include a “reunion with deceased loved ones and with God, angels, Jesus.” Viewed in light of all of the evidence, one quickly begins to realize why materialist attempts to explain away the phenomenon fall flat.
